The Karabakh horse breed is one of the national attributes of the Republic of Azerbaijan and alluring species that is of great importance to Azerbaijanis and to the Equestrian World.
However, the country's national animal that can be found everywhere from its stories to its postage stamps is faced with extinction.
The collapse of the Soviet Union and Karabakh-conflict, then unprofessional management approaches have negatively impacted the Karabakh horse breeding industry. The current number of purebred Karabakh horses is unknown due to the lack of studbooks since 2001.
Our objective

First of all, we must determine and register all available purebred Karabakh horses all over the world to build a worldwide database for breeders. After establishing this worldwide database, we will create a monitoring and control system to track the breeding and development of purebred lines/families. Another one of our targets is to support the establishment of the Karabakh Horse breeding Society in the USA.
