OUR PROGRAM
(Phase 1) - Worldwide Central Database
In this phase, USAKHRA and its partners will register all available purebred Karabakh horses over the world for the identification of existing pedigree connections of the mares and stallions. This phase will include studies and research for the identification of genotypes of the breed. After completing this registration, all information will be reviewed by a team of researchers for the selection of horses for pure breeding, for the identification of available sire lines and mare families. Central data will be created based on these selections and divided by classes. This database will be updated periodically, and it will be available for all breeders, applicable agents, new studbooks, etc.
(Phase 2) - Worldwide Breeding Control System
After completing phase 1, we will build a Worldwide Breeding Control System for monitoring of the progress of the development of all breed lines and breed families of all registered Karabakh horses with their owners and locations, tracking of the mating schedule of the horses from selected sire lines and mare families. This phase will be turned into the operation of monitoring and controlling the progress of further development of the KH purebreds over the world to increase the population of purebred horses to the safe level.
(Phase 3) - Restoration of purebred Karabakh Horses (Sari-Kohlans)
This phase will be the beginning of the restoration of purebred lines and families of Karabakh horses, known as Sari-Kohlan (Like Zaman in the picture). The details currently are under development.

(Phase 4) - Importing Karabakh Horses to the USA
In this phase, USAKHRA will start to form purebred Karabakh Horse societies in the USA. The details currently are under development.
